Here we go again, another distraction diary. No birthers, deathers, GBCW, or other Metastorms here. Just some critter photos to provide a brief break from the battle. And yes, I am back to using the old Booby Bait and Switch. I apologize if you are looking for something other than seabirds.
Wheeeee! A pantropical spotted dolphin gets big air.
Bluefin Trevally or Omilu All jacks in Hawaii, no matter the species, are called papio when small and ulua when large.
Whitetip Reef Shark
Divided Flatworm. Like many brightly colors creatures this flatworm is highly toxic. It contains tetrodotoxin, the same poison found in those dangerous sashimi pufferfish.
Fang Blenny. I like its little smile.
Pantropical Spotted Dolphins
Whitesaddle Goatfish or Kumu
Hello!
I think this tiny little eel is a Stout Moray.
An airborne Yellowfin Tuna with a small flying fish in its mouth.
And finally a nice pair of boobies:
Red-Footed Booby
Brown Booby
Please feel free to post your photos and, as always, be good humans.
