Zokuga at Slashdot points to a story about Obama's promise to make the government more transparent by putting information online.
In a sad indication of how that is progressing, the contract awarded to the technology firm to make it happen has been released in heavily redacted form.
ProPublica, which had to FOIA the document, says:
In all, 25 pages of a 59-page technical proposal — the main document in the package — were redacted completely. Of the remaining pages, 14 had half or more of their content blacked out.
