Alright, lemme get this straight....public option is potentially not an option since a hostile minority of nut cases have been showing up to town hall meetings shouting, not speaking in non sequiturs about hilter, socialist, fascist, communist takeovers?

So the same folks who don't think Obama was born in America are the same folks you're listening to about the public option?

So when fringe, crackpot conspiracy  theorist Glenn Beck orders his watchers/listeners to town halls, (who deems Barack Obama a deep seeded racist, and is losing advertisers at astounding speeds) says jump, you say how high?

So what dictates the future of our health care isn't logic, reason and thoughtful debate, it's whoever is the most threatening, hostile and makes the most obnoxious outbursts?

So what matters isn't the fact that an overwhelming majority of Americans want a public option, it isn't what all the people who worked so tirelessly to get you elected think, it's what a batshit minority of birthers, deathers, anti government types who carry guns to rallies, spray paint swastikas on congressional offices, rip up posters of Rosa Parks think of the public option that really matters here?

Elected Dems, please find your backbones, your brains, get back to being adults & fighting for public option.
I can't believe we even have to have this conversation!!!

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
