Yesterday, I wrote a diary about a letter I wrote to Honda. Honda flatly denied that they advertise on the Glenn Beck show.
But agnostic pointed out that there actually WAS a Honda commercial on the Beck program on 8/17/09....
So I politely wrote a letter (last night) pointing out this fact and asking whether Fox might be moving the Honda ads to the Beck program without permission.
This time I didn't get an answer right away. But tonight I got a response. See it below...

An advertisement from our Motorcycle Division was inadvertently placed on
the Glenn Beck show Aug. 17. We did not purchase advertising specifically
on that program.

While I appreciate Alicia getting back to me, her answer creates as many questions as it answers. The word "specifically" is crucial here.
But she appears to be disingenuous too. If the Motorcycle ad was "inadvertent", does that mean it violated the contract between Fox and Honda? If it didn't, the use of the word inadvertent is nonsense. If it is, she should be taking action with Fox.
The word "specifically" suggests that Honda has a blanket arrangement with Fox. I will continue to pursue this....
