I just heard on the news that Obama will be delivering Senator Ted Kennedy's eulogy this Saturday. I sense that this is going to be another signature speech by Obama. Although the focus will be on Teddy, I assume it will also be used as a teaching moment about the 'fierce urgency of now' with regard to health care reform.
update: I found a credible news link to back this up
It's a bit of a risky ploy given that the rethugs love to bash Kennedy and healthcare reform at the same time but I think he can pull it off with appropriate reverence for Senator Kennedy's career and lifetime contributions to America while driving home the message that we need Healthcare for all A.S.A.P.
I think if the rethugs try to mock Healthcare reform and Ted Kennedy's life work, there will be a blowback from independents and moderate republicans that they will not be able to wash over.

The republicans can unleash the hounds on this one, but methinks it could be the nail in their coffin, exposing them for what they really are: The party of NO and The Party of ME, ME, ME....F*** my neighbor.
