It's going to be hot, there is tons of smoke in the air, but we need to still be out there at Warner Center Park in Woodland Hills, CA, this time to vigil in honor of Senator Ted Kennedy. If you can think of it, please wear black, although I can understand if you won't because it will be a HOT DAY even at 5pm.
Next month we will be back doing the Single Payer Happy Hour thing, but this month due to the extraordinary circumstance of losing the Lion of the Senate we're going to be doing things a little differently. Please BRING FLAGS. Signs are not so important this time but we will have two: one that says "Thank you, Senator Kennedy" and one that says "Honor Senator Kennedy's memory: pass Health Care Reform."
We'll only be out there from 5 to 6 because of the weather. And yeah...lots of sunscreen today. And a hat with a brim, although I will probably just wear a dew rag like I usually do.
Map to the location is here: http://tinyurl.com/... We will be at the corner of Topanga Canyon Boulevard and Califa Street. See you there!
