Last week I wrote about an exchange between Rep. Frank Kratovil and myself. While I got the impression that he was paying attention, he was paying more attention to the loony fringe of his constituents.
Just now I recieved an email invitation to a health care event being organized at his offices in Centerville Maryland tomorrow, Wednesday the 2 of September at 5:00 PM.
Here's the event description:
As the August recess draws to a close and Congress prepares to get back to work after Labor Day, let's make a big splash and see to it that Rep. Frank Kratovil hears loud and clear from his constituents in support of health reform.
Bring homemade signs and your own personal stories about how health reform will help you and your family.
I'm passing this along as I personally can't make it due to a prior commitment. As one of the self professed Blue Dogs I think it is imperative that our voices be heard. It should be made LOUD & CLEAR that our support is dependent on his coming out publicly for a robust public option. It is time for him to understand that his job security is on the line.
