The United States is playing El Salvador at Rio Tinto Stadium in Utah.  

The United States is coming off a 2-1 loss to Mexico at Mexico City.  The USA is tied for second place with ten points.  The first three teams in the group qualify.  The fourth place team gets a playoff with a South American team.  Costa Rica leads the group with 12 points.

The USA team tied El Salvador 2-2 in the last qualifier in El Salvador.

The United States is 13-1-5 all-time versus El Salvador, with 43 goals scored and 12 surrendered.

The USA is heavily favored to win this game.  If they lose, it will make their road to the World Cup much more treacherous.
