Duh!!! Not that this is any surprise to readers at this site.
We also know that Massachussets has had gay marriage for over 5 years and the state has one of the lowest divorce rates in the country. We also know that the most conservative, reddest, anti-gay rights states in the union have the highest divorce rates. This recent poll from Iowa further erodes away the arguments of opponents of same-sex marriage that it will somehow destroy traditional marriage, families and children.
Throughout all the debates I see conducted on national t.v., during legislative hearings, by commentators and op-ed pages, I just wish that the glaringly obvious would be pointed out.
Here is just a small list of marriage/family daily/weekly activities (1% of entire list) that WILL NOT be affected by the marriage of two men in the Castro District of San Francisco or the marriage of two women in the Southend of Boston:

have a Sunday barbeque

get to work on time, everyday
wake the kids up every morning for school
go to your kids’ football game
go to your kids’ piano recital
watch the football game
take the kids to the baseball game
visit grandma & grandpa
go on a family vacation
go on a family camping trip
finding a reliable babysitter
enrolling your spouse and kids in the company’s healthcare plan
taking your girls to work during "take your daughters to work" day
encouraging your children to make good grades
punish/ground your children when they do wrong
require your kids to do chores
take your kids fishing or hunting
