According to the latest Rasmussen Reports poll on the match-ups next year for governor between Democrat Ted Strickland and his Republican challenger John Kasich, and the race for US Senate between Republican Rob Portman and the survivor of the 2010 Democratic primary between Lt. Gov. Lee Fischer and Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner, who both want to succeed George V. Voinovich in the US Senate, shows each one of them ought to be at center court, wearing their high-top sneakers and hoping they can rise to the occasion.
