I just read this on Huffington Post and it shocked and sickened me. Starting November 1st, Physicians performing abortions will be forced to publish information about the woman receiving the procedure ON-LINE!

The State is saying it does not interfere with a woman's privacy because her name will not be posted. However, women's advocates correctly point out that the personal information that is posted can easily be used to figure out who a person is.
Can you imagine having to make such a personal, and often gut-wrenching, decision knowing that if you opt. for an abortion anyone with an internet connection could track you down? When people are being murdered for performing abortions, it is entirely reasonable to think that one might be murdered for aborting an unwanted pregnancy too.
I find this sickening and scary and I sincerely hope that this law is deemed unconstitutional. This law is going into effect in less than a month, which means that even if it is eventually overturned, many women will be put in mental and physical danger while they wait for justice.
Update: Droogie found a story indicating that there is a motion to block this from going into effect on Nov. 1st. I certainly hope this is successful. The link is here
