A true patriot gets a chance to serve his country in a time of war at the ripe-old age of 39 years. His government paycheck gets to go to the medical profession. His daughter gets traumatized enough that she will become a fear-based right-wing conservative when she grows up.
If that isn't a Win-Win for our country I don't know what is.
Of course, you might be wondering who I am by now. . .>
This just came in across the newswire, I couldn't be happier. . .
He's in the Army now
Wife’s cancer prompts man to enlist
Chelsea Caudle began signing her text messages this summer with a countdown. At 14 years old, she knew no better way to express what was coming. Day Zero was to be Oct. 7, the day Dad left for Army basic training in Fort Jackson, S.C. He was moving 950 miles from their home in Watertown, 950 miles from Mom.
He was leaving, even though Mom was sick with ovarian cancer. Even though he had been at her side through two long, miserable rounds of chemotherapy. Even though she now faced the likelihood of a third.
You see, it always works out. We get to provide good paying jobs with great benefits AND we get to project military might around the globe. This is especially important around the Caspian Basinwhere so many good quality raw resources are available. . . like oil and opium.
Of course we wouldn't be able to keep the army full of good, highly motivated, quality cannon fodder (lol. . . I mean, soldiers. . .haha) if we let those damn socialists have their way and prevented us from destroying the middle class. It is always good business to prey upon the general population and then send their children (or in this case their DADs (lol) to war).
War is great for business. So is buying up foreclosed homes on money handed out by the u.s. government. So is massively overcharging for any necessary resource like say, Oil, Electricity, or HealthCare.
In the end our beautiful plan to dismantle the middle class and foreclose on their assets leads to another beautiful generation of children who have been so emotionally traumatized that they will never be able to evaluate their economic and political reality in a way seperate from their fear-based hypothalmus.
The neurology of the human brain, as Dr. Drew Westin and so many neurologists teach us, is such that when you can make people afraid, nothing - not rational thought, nor any other emotion except fear - can be engaged in or experienced. The Hind Brain, popularly called "The Reptilian Brain" responds first and overwhelms the higher Limbic and Neo Cortex parts of the brain. And as long as the "Fight or Flight" response of our Reptilian Brain is triggered, we, as individuals and as a nation, can never escape the fear pattern. Abraham Maslow understood this many years ago with his Hierarchy of Human Needs which says, among other things, that human beings will be frozen in their development as long as they feel they do not have safety or security.
And we guaranteed to make sweet profits for another cycle of generations.
In fact, Dad was leaving because Mom was sick.
In March, he was laid off from his job as a raw materials coordinator for a plastics company called PolyOne, where he'd worked for 20 years. His severance package had provided several months' salary, but by August the paychecks were winding down. Soon the cost of his family health coverage was going to triple, then a few months after that, nearly triple again. They needed coverage so Mom could fight her cancer.
Dad's solution: a four-year hitch in the Army.
If that isn't a win-win scenario, then I don't know what is.
sincerely,
the establishment
