Joe Biden will anounce Monday that a facility, in Delaware, that was closed, will be re-opened. The Plant will begin to make Plug in Vehicles, some 1500 have already been ordered. The less exspensive one will go for $41,000. Albeit, not yet affordable for middle income people, still very welcome news! This Plant had recieved a Government loan(thank God for the Government) to start making these Plugins and Hybrids.
Join me over the jump for discuson:
First, the Ford Fusion came about last year with a 37mpg, hybrid mode. Then, the Chevy Volt, which is available as early as June 2010, came about, and gets a wopping 249mpg(some estimates). Now the NINA, no estimates on how much this gets per gallon, but this thing is very exspensive. One can only wonder if the technology is improving so much, 1) how much mpg it gets and 2) for that price it better.
Anyways, here is the article, enjoy, and tell me what you guys think?
