and Greenwald, Rahm, Obama and our best friend who should not have picked out those shoes.
Huffington Post reported on facts which reflect poorly on the leader and which contradict what they are eager to believe. Anyone who does that must be discredited, impugned and declared to be the enemy.
Excuse me?? "Why Joe Biden Should Resign" ? Just the facts, right?
Sure, that poll could have been worded better. Many commenters pointed out (and I agree) that it's more that HuffPo is turning more tabloid and sensationalistic rather than more conservative. I see that as a decline in quality but apparently by saying that I'm "embarrassing dkos" and broadcasting a personal invitation for the Kool-Aid pitcher to bust through my front window.
Get a grip.
I think holding Obama's feet to the fire is a good thing, but I also think it's a good thing when people point out when his critics take it too far.
I agree wholeheartedly with this editorial and also think that some of the shit at HuffPo is crazy. These aren't inconsistent positions.
Other diary:
If Republicans ever want to prove that the moral high ground we've held on detention, torture, secrecy, rule of law and civil liberties was really just unprincipled, opportunistic Bush-bashing in disguise, 56% of us just helped them out.
This plays into the misrepresentation I see Greenwald engaging in. 2900 people voted "Yes" in that poll and it's clearly not a representative sample of dKos readers. 56% of dKos readers and 56% of that diary readers are being conflated, methinks.
Anyway by this point a few people might feel like criticizing this diary. Have at it:)
