The good is John Kerry's response to former Vice President Dick Cheney's idiotic remark, accusing the President of "dithering" over Afghanistan:
"This from a man who in 2002 told Americans, 'The Taliban regime is out of business,'" said Mr. Kerry, Massachusetts Democrat and chairman of the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations. "This is one time I wish he was right."
The bad is how the Washington Times chose to characterize the response:
Sen. John Kerry on Monday added to the bickering between the Obama administration and former Bush White House officials about the war in Afghanistan.
Note to the Washington Times; there is no bickering between the Obama administration and former Bush White House officials. There is the administration deciding on how they're going to deal with the bloody mess Cheney and his pals left behind, and then there's the Dick, who has flapped his gums more in the past nine months than he did in the previous eight years, all in an attempt to salvage what he laughingly considers his legacy.
