A quick search found only one diary on this topic and the author seemed to think that the outrage coming from the left and right over Rep. Grayson's comments were unfair.
This would seem to be the strategy going forward, portraying Grayson as some out of control lunatic.
Yes, he called out the GOP for not having a health care plan.
Yes, he called out the White House for sucking up to Olympia Snowe.
Yes, he posted at Daily Kos before his political career.
But he is out of control. He called an aide to the chairman of the federal reserve a "whore" because he felt, as an economist, that he was above listening to her ideas about regulating the Fed. An according to his spokesman, he is standing by his remarks.
Grayson supports limiting the Fed's power. An economist early in his career, he said he didn't need to be lectured by "this K Street whore" about why such regulation isn't necessary. His spokesman stood by the remark Tuesday.

We need to have standards and lead by example. We cannot tolerate sexist comments from anyone, even our allies. And we cannot ignore bad behavior because we admire the person who engaged in it. Rep. Grayson are sexist and he needs to apologize. And his progressive supporters need to be leading the call for him to do so.
