This is going to be a relatively short diary. I don't think I need to add much dialogue to the story. I want you to see how this man, a war hero, was living.
91 year old World War II veteran and former POW Dwaine Davis is homeless today after his residence collapsed in Flushing, OH. Mr. Davis lived in a what was apparently a dilapidated home with no running water (and possibly only kerosene lamps for light) in a very small town in Eastern Ohio.

Mr. Davis was miraculously unhurt in the collapse that occurred yesterday at 5pm. Residents and officials of the town had been trying to get Mr. Davis to move for the last several months.
The Belmont County Sheriff's department has called Adult Protective Services to help Mr. Davis find a home. VA and other organizations are also being pressed into service. Mr. Davis apparently has some disability as the news stories mention a service entrance at the front of the home.
Dwaine Davis has no living family.
