In our tumultuous times we are faced with so many obstacles that it often seems improbable that we will ever come out of our troubles. We anger over simple issues, we shout to make our voice heard over others that seem to be in our way. But have we really stopped and thought about finding solutions rather then fuming at the problems?
We have "Right wing conservative" lawmakers that try to tell us what is best for us. Yet who, for the past 8 years, took advantage of our system of government to make themselves rich? Who drove our economy into our deepest debt ever? Is it a sign of the times that we owe other nations trillions and trillions of dollars?
So How do we stop the hurt feelings? How do we come to grips with the realization that we are above all else, Americans? What can be done about Washingtonian ideals and wasteful ways? There is a way to fix what all of us perceive as a socialist regime. Stop thinking that way would be the logical start but Here are some ideas and opinions that if read and believed could start healing the wounds.
The President: Are we so upset as a nation that we elected an intelligent, Witty, Charming, Educated, And Happily Married man? Forget about color. We have been down that road a long time ago and it leads nowhere. President Obama is trying to rescue our nation from a second great depression, which if you really looked closely at the numbers that is what we were in. from over 14,000 to 6,589? do the math america. that is nearly a 47% loss in the stock market alone. Now the market has recovered and I think it is due to President Obamas efforts.
He has taken on so many responsibilities in just his first few months and yet we still criticize him. The republican party has no answer other then to block his efforts and make false accusations against him.
Stop believeing what Republicans are saying. They have no better answers other then what helps their pocketbook.
Healthcare Debate: America needs pivital Healthcare reform. If not now, when? Instead of listening to what someone tells you find your own mind and read what is proposed. If you already have healthcare be worried about your Senators and Congressmen wanting to tax those premiums that you pay and taxing also the benefits you get. This is what is being considered. No one is forcing you to take part in govenment run healthcare, even though we have had some form of that for over the last 60 years in the form of medicaid, medicare, and the low income form of healthcare that helps to cover foodstamp recipients.
Now Protesters: Where do you find the time to attend republican sponsored "rallies"? Are you Unemployed? If you are wouldn't your time be better spent looking for work and becoming part of the solution rather then continuing to be part of the problem? As I write this I have seen news reports about Jobs available but no one to fill them. Are we so dependant on unemployment assistance that we have decided that not working and collecting money is the greatest thing ever? Stop being a burden and seek gainful employment.
The Other Nations: Some are right to look at us and scoff. We have grown up to be domineering, greedy, self-absorbed, lazy, and just mean about our own lives. We think that we are above other nations and can do no wrong but look at all the pain we create. We protest like we are other nations. We feel slighted when someone looks at us the wrong way. And freedom of speach? Only until someone wants to sue you for what you say. We have become a nation of get rich quick schemes. What happened to the hard work this nation was built on? All I can do is shake my head and hope that soon some of us finally get it and get rid of those that put their needs above the rest of us. I am not political for now, I just want to work hard and contribute to our nation as a fine American that will do everything I possibly can to make our Nation as great as it once was.
