Chris Mathews seems gleeful...more after the fold

I was watching about as much as I could of Chris Mathews today, and witnessed him trying to stir up trouble with NARL and the Ft. Hood issue.

He seems to almost be taking gleeful enjoyment out of watching what is happening with Democrats and anyone who is even close to being even on the same side with them, while almost seeing to look as though he could turn the Ft. Hood issue into Barack Obama's 911 faliue.

He went after the NARL rep implying she was a radical and single issue advocated without the majority of the public on her side. As noted by a previous diarist, he seemed completely impervious, and yes I mean imprevious, to the idea of what the Stupak admendment acutally meant for a women's choice. And he kept interupting her any time she tried to say anything.

I have been watching him the last few days and it seems like he just can't get enough of going after Democrats. There have been so many things he has commented on, but to be honest, they have just blurred into an image of a ranting, non-stop talking, interupting, middle age white guy with a bui mouth who when he laughs goes ha!!!!!

Does anyone have any idea what the heck if going on with this guy? Was he ever really a liberal? Is he just stupid? What is it?

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
