I can't believe this crap. Two assholes from out of state want to put a Sarah Palin from President in 2012 billboard in the city of San Carlos, CA, 20 minutes south of San Francisco. I think this will cause accidents because I think some people who see the Palin billboard will likely get upset and lose concentration while driving.

I'm new at making diaries and I apologize for the lack of substance before I edited this diary. I must say, I am cynical when it comes to the American electorate. Granted, we did great last year by electing President Obama, but we are a nation that TWICE elected Ronald Reagan, Richard Nixon, and George W. Bush President. Bush lied and started a war against a country that didn't attack us and the American people reward him by giving him a second term? Gimme a break!

I understand people write off Palin as a joke but after George W. Bush's win in 2004, I've learned to NEVER underestimate the ignorance of people who vote against their best interests. How could Bush, who was a TERRIBLE President back in 2004, win a second term? I thought Kerry was gonna win in a landslide and I didn't believe the polls in 2004. Having said that, I hope President Obama has a successful first term so he can get re-elected. We can't afford another Republican President for at least 16 years.

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
