Last night whilst watching the NY23 election results coming in, I ventured over to the Palin Fansite Conservatives for Palin. If you feel the need to give them clicks just substitute the for, for 4 and google.
It was too funny, so I posted a few of their comments here on Kos. They caused much hilarity so I thought I'd try and give you some giggles with your morning jo.
I know schadenfreude is not an attractive feature, but crap, this is so funny it would be a sin not to share.
Bonus features at the end. I know a good hook when I see one.
First we have the comfort of knowing all is well.
Their polls tell them
Among voters who have decided for whom to vote, Hoffman leads 46 percent to 37 percent for Owens and 17 percent for Scozzafava. 56 percent of Scozzafava supporters say Owens is currently their second choice."
Comments (for the sake of decency, I will leave their names off. You should know though that they call themselves amongst other things 'wise trog', 'techno' and 'GoCuda'.
If all goes well.
Obama Election night Depends Saturation Level prediction:
Off the charts: Full Speed Ahead
Outstanding. 12pts. I cannot wait until SP stumps for Perry down here. These election wins (hopefully) will have candidates scrambling for SP's endorsement and in some cases personal appearances in 2010. I was doubly pleased to hear from Perry's mouth, "I'm sticking with Sarah," in response to being asked about Cheney's endorsement of KBH.
Governor Palin...
Let me be the First to Thank You from the 'Bottom" of my Heart...
For being the Biggest Boil on the Bum of Obama
I hope to see another Facebook post from the Governor if/when Hoffmann wins tonight
.
Stupid is as stupid does. When it is this close, it becomes a turnout contest. Corzine is radioactive, so he's had to go negative on Christie. Christie could have brought in Palin and have her made real feel-good, "Bipartisan Leadership for New Jersey" speeches that would have revved up the Base, but the AssClown Consultant Party bought into The Narrative.
When Corzine takes this thing in the early hours of tomorrow morning, let this be a lesson to the faint of heart: Sarah Palin turned one race around, NY-23. She did it by being bold. Christie remained timid and played the "I'm sorry for being a Republican in New Jersey" card. See where it gets him by tomorrow. My prediction? Private life.
Well, Christie COULD have called in the 'Cuda.
But NOOOOOOOOOO. She would have been too DIVISIIIIIIVVVVEE.
But he didn't. Screw him. Let him be a fat morsel for the flesh-eating ACORN Zombies.
OT I know, but how great would it be if Palin wins 3 years from today? Can you imagine the heads exploding if Obama loses to Sarah? God that would be great.
intrade right now has corzine art 10% and Hoffman at 85%
We move into denial
Early results on HA showing Hoffman trailing Owens badly?
Must be early votes..I think Hoffman will win.
I hope so. If he loses, GOP'll be brutal on Sarah as the campaigns didn't let Sarah in on NJ or VA.
Hoffman does not look too good by looking at coming numbers with 17%votes in he is at 44% owens at 52%.Would all these exit polls lie.
On Greta, they had Owens at 53% Hoffman at 47%, ouch
but only like 17% reporting..
ok, whew !
but check out #TCOT, they have county breakdown, he lost two big counties
The NY23 election is about real change and the power of the average American. Hoffman is a "Joe Six Pack" who found the courage to step up and in doing so, won the endorsement of a "everyday Hockey mom".
If he pulls this off, it shows the power of the American people. And that it what makes it significant.
It also shows the power our hockey mom has to single handedly overturn the entrenched establishment.
Anger
Bah, I expected NJ to be the nail biter and not NY-23. LOL. I'm off to bed, I'm hoping to awake to some good news on NY-23 in the morning.
It shows how WAY OFF PPP was in their hoffman by a landslide prodiction. So why should we believe their anti Sarah BS?
Voting machine malfunctions? What, did someone drop some ACORNs in the slots?
Bargaining
It's now 49-45% for Owens with 47% districts reporting. Come On!
I dont know about NY23, but could it be that the more liberal areas are the ones that have been counted first? and thats why no call yet? Waiting to see the more conservative areas votes come in that should go to hoffman?
FOx just reported there are big republican districts that havn't even started counting the ballots need to travel and it may be till midnight.. Also they say Hoffman campaign not worried at all at early results.
Guys this one is for the Governor. God is just not going to let her down on this.
From your lips...!
Depression
I'm worried about Hoffmann. It will look bad for Sarah if he loses.
Think Sarah and Todd are watching Fox News, cleaning up dinner, getting kids ready for bed and hoping to enjoy a Hoffman victory in a few hours with a facebook note!?
I don't see how HOffman wins it with the counties that are out.
Guys it doesn't look good for Hoffman. The #s don't add up.
You know somehow the damn medai will say that its Sarah's fault Hoffman did not win..you know its coming
Owens leading by 3600 votes Lewis county will go for Hoffman with half of precincts reporting but Lawrence countyonly 50 out of 102 precincts yet to report its a very liberal county
Looks bad,sorry
I'm thinking positive....I'm thinking positive...I'm thinking positive...............
and praying...............
I don't get it ... Wasn't everyone saying that this race was in the bag for Doug Hoffman?
And I know it seems weird ... but is it possible that there was a backlash against Rush Limbaugh's comments Sunday. I thought he really crossed the line when he couldn't even give Obama credit for going to Dover.
Sometimes people overplay their hands, and I think there was so much euphoria about Hoffman that maybe turned some people off.
But maybe he will pull it off.
Question: won't all of Dede S's votes go to Hoffman, as he is now the republican candidate?
no.. he is not the republican candidate. her votes are just wasted spoiler votes.
wow... so even if she gets like 4500 votes, and Hoffman is only down by a 1000 or so.... she ruins it... what a nutballl the woman is.
We know why this is the only race that really matters, because it was a 'power to the people' one, because the tea party movement and Glenn and Sarah stood their here. The other two flew well within the envelope. The NRCC spent a million dollars give or take, on the candidate, they had to ultimately disavow
Overall, even if Hoffman loses the big story is new jersey. However, we know with our media Sarah will be attacked non stop for a supposed failure.
Acceptance
If Hoffman Loses...this has nothing to do with Palin.. the blame rests squarely on the Shoulders of Steele and the RNC! They picked a failure from the get go!
Newtered can pat himself on the back for this as well
!
This is probably why Mitt didn't endorse Hoffman. Could they have engineered the Scuzzy endorsement so that it looks like Sarah is losing? With that frightening NRO editorial of KLO, I think that's possible
.
Unfortunately with Hoffman loss and Virginia and Christie in NJ win We are back to square one .Christie has nothing to do with conservatives, Mcdonnel didnt want Sarah to come and campaign for him .Tonight is not a night to celebrate. Not only we need true conservative candidates ,we also need good ,articulate candidates and Hoffman wasnt it.
Heres the thing, besides the die hards like us who follow out of state local elections, most people have no idea what NY23 even is? They have no idea who the canidates are and who endorsed who. Governors races get more attention, but I would not worry too much about what this does to Sarah. In 2011, who will care about NY23 when and if Sarah is going for GOP nomination?
Well New York is certainly looking disappointing. The PPP polls and even the exit polls look like they were more than a little off. Well, onward.
We pick our selves up...and dust our selves off...and..WE continue.. the Fight for Conservatism...We. Will. WIN.
It goes on and on, so I will now give you the promised bonuses, if you are still with me :)
For days now Sarah's fans have been very concerned that she has not received the credit she deserves for her efforts in Hoffman's race. I'm willing to give her everything she deserves

Oh, I do love this so.
It’s from FoxNews.com. (Where else?) It does make me wonder, though. You know how every time a Republican is caught in some awful sex scandal and they show them on Fox News with a (D) after their name, and then they say it was just an accidental typo? Do you think maybe it really was?
Nah.
You'll need to click the link for the full hilarity of this, Fox did an article on Palin and quoted the 'Going Rouge' An American Nightmare, for Palin's Book.
Damage Control from Facebook LOL

The race for New York’s 23rd District is not over, just postponed until 2010. The issues of this election have always centered on the economy – on the need for fiscal restraint, smaller government, and policies that encourage jobs. In 2010, these issues will be even more crucial to the electorate. I commend Doug Hoffman and all the other under-dog candidates who have the courage to put themselves out there and run against the odds
And Finally, just to prove that Palin has some talent
