Shame on some here who attacked viciously Michael Moore for expressing an opinion. Diaries like this one and this one, are a real shame. Not because they attack Michael Moore, but because they show that many have not learned anything from the Bush/Cheney disaster all these years.
It is really shocking that some all of the sudden are starting to use Bush/Cheney rhetoric to defend one of the worst mistakes of the Obama administration. The escalation of a war that no longer has a purpose.
Before you keep attacking Michael Moore and similarly minded people, just stop and think for a moment what Michael Moore was trying to accomplish with his diary. He was just trying to stop the death and destruction that a war escalation would bring. Like Keith Olbermann and many others.
I have been a strong Obama supporter and originally supported the war in Afghanisran. I have also given him a lot of money and did anything I could to get him elected, but I will not support things that are obviously wrong. That war is not winnable and it has no point. People like Feingold and others who are against the war escalation are right and the Obama administration is very wrong.
I am not sure I will be able to call myself an Obama supporter after tomorrow, when he announces the escalation of that war.
