In my office with over 100 people, many voted Obama but now are very angry.
We had comraderie during the elections and many helped me walk the streets. They wanted change. Then after the election was a lot of pride. Today and I mean today the same people are angry at the "democrats" even though our company is still growing during this recession.
They now think that Obama is a communist in disguise, wants to "redistribute wealth" through government programs and doesn't know what he is doing because he has never run a company or business. Their harshest comment that Obama is destroying the democratic party for "left wing liberalism". I have never seen anger like this even with Bush! That is why I am down. Let me share more and wonder if anyone else is seeing this as well?
We would have great talks during lunch and the posters and democratic pride in cubes are gone and now when I build up our agenda people who considered themselves liberal or democrat, get up and walk away!
And the first comment they make is Obama isn't getting us out of the war, he is spending money during a recession we don't have and continues to blame Bush but the comment is that Obama is responsible. In fact, I just saw a poster in a an OFA [former] member that said "i HOPE you CHANGE". When I challenged this poster, she rudely said,
"this isn't the guy I voted for and I can barely listen to his speeches because they are full of bullshit".
And that is in essence what the majority of people have been saying to me that were on our side. And the conservatives are in full out glee.
I could use some help here if anyone has time for ideas or if you think I am off the wall.
