This will be a very brief diary, but I'm hoping it will at least garner enough attention and get people to take action--and pass it on. I am in complete agreement with Cenk's diary today, which calls out the President for his terrible blunder and--dare I say it?--flip-flop.
The President is breaking his promise to show the detainee-abuse photos, and moreover, to allow for the accountable, transparent U.S. government of which he spoke so brilliantly during his campaign and on the day of his inauguration. What happened?
The ACLU wants to know as well--and wants us to take action. Click here to sign a pre-written letter (you can write your own using the form, if you desire) to President Obama demanding accountability and the release of the torture photos as he promised.
No matter how hard the truth hurts, the light must shine upon it. Take action now.
