Ah...the only part of the detestable, smug National Review Online that I can tolerate.
http://www.nationalreview.com/miller/miller200403080825.asp
He doesn't even mention Kentucky, Maryland, Connecticut, Vermont, Hawaii, Indiana, etc. so obviously he feels the races there are already decided. A brief summary on Miller's thoughts for each race:
ALASKA (Murkowski vs. Knowles) - Knowles slightly favored and 45-42 in poll; toss-up
ARKANSAS - Likely Dem retention
CALIFORNIA - Leaning Dem, but Boxer's fundraising numbers seem low enough to him that Jones qualifies as a possible victor
COLORADO - toss-up
FLORIDA - he seems to think it will be McCollum vs. Castor, leaning Republican (is anyone surprised Martinez isn't doing better in the polls?)
GEORGIA - likely R takeover (no shit!); he thinks hard-righter Mac Collins will win in the primary
ILLINOIS - leaning Democrat, but he thinks Hynes is the only good Dem candidate and that Ryan will fare very well against Obama or weakened Hull
LOUISIANA - toss-up
MISSIOURI - likely GOP retention, in spite of Dems wanting Nancy Farmer to be a dark horse
NEVADA - likely Dem retention, all that's left is a GOP sacrificial lamb
NORTH CAROLINA - toss-up
NORTH DAKOTA - Byron has a 51% approval among even Republicans (!) and is very likely to keep his seat
OKLAHOMA - he's practically creaming his khakis over Coburn entering the race. This is now a toss-up for him.
PENNSYLVANIA - disgusted by Specter's ads against Toomey (NRO has a mad man-crush on Toomey), but the seat is Specter's to lose and he won't in November
SOUTH CAROLINA - seems puzzled as to why Democrats are pleased with Inez Tenenbaum (maybe because she leads in all polls?) and thinks this is leaning Republican
SOUTH DAKOTA - Daschle has some support from the NRA and the seat is leaning Dem
WASHINGTON - sees Patty as showing no signs of weakening, and is likely to keep her seat
WISCONSIN - slams the GOP candidates as sub-par (yay!) and feels that Feingold has a "virtual lock" on reelection (YAY!!!)
Overall he thinks the GOP will lose 4 seats or pick up 6 seats.
