Its legal. Its brilliant. It really send a message to whole foods that
we are not going to spend our money with those who are trying to
kill health care reform and save thousands of lives.
We are not going to take it anymore.
I walked into the local whole food and got a cart. I intended to buy
enough groceries to survive the coming depression that so many
town hall stalkers had warned me about. I filled my shopping cart to the
brim with fresh free range chicken...pesticide free vegetables...
all those great natural items until the car was flowing over the top
with whole food's products.
As I approached the check out I realized I have a thousand dollars
worth of items in my cart. I froze.
As they started to scan the items i asked to immediately see the
manager. He came over and I said these words...
"Sorry..I am not going to do business with a company that wants to
see innocent americans die without health care. I am not doing
business with your company because you oppose the health care reform
that would save millions of lives..THANK YOU! And on top of that
I can't afford to pay for these items and left my cash at home"
I then said thanks but no thanks and walked out of the store.
It was beautiful because once wrapped the items can't be put back
on the shelf. It was a brilliant way to say to them without
doing anything wrong that I will not do business with this store
ever again.
