On "Reliable Sources" this morning, Jeff Jarvis, of
http://www.buzzmachine.com (I have no idea who he is) equated Markos' getting press passes for the conventions with the Gannon-McClellan-Bush charade in the White House Briefing Room. I don't remember him being jumped on by Kurtz, David Gergen or even Bill Press..but maybe I missed that.
Gergen also said that President Kennedy's calling on a liberal journalist from Texas, when he was in a tough situation, was the same as calling on Gannon.
Jarvis also said, and Kurtz agreed that the blogs shouldn't have gone after Gannon personally and that is why he resigned.
On Fox News Sunday, Chris Wallace asked Biden what effect Dean would have on the Democratic Party because he was antiwar. The obnoxious pr--k from Delaware had this nasty smile and said that never has a DNC Chairman had an effect on policy and neither will Howard Dean. Then later he goes on to say that Bush has a great opportunity that no American president ever had....in Iraq. Like lying to start this f--g war was Ok. It should be these guy's kids who die in Iraq for this bold Bush move to save his imbecilic and lazy presidency. How can you not hate them?
Plus the news people are trying to split the Dems right down the middle with the "not any safer due to Saddam's capture" and "Osamma bin Laden deserves a fair trial." I don't remember exactly what Dean said about that. I do know they took it out of context. I myself would like to be the one who pulls lever to fry bin Laden but before that, I'd like to see a trial that shows the world the differences between an animal like bin Laden and us.
