I'm watching this show and they are whining about how President Obama acts. They are now accusing President Obama of being dispassionate about leading. I'm sorry, but that's complete malarkey. I don't want a President who thinks with his emotions (especially when lives are at stake) as opposed to thinking with his BRAIN. They are saying he moves too slowly. He's not "spontaneous" enough. What the fuck? Didn't we just have eight years of "spontaneous"? When the hell will we learn? I happen to like having a President who thinks before he talks or acts. I'd rather have a President who doesn't come out immediately after something like the failed attempt on Christmas and rail against someone when he doesn't have all of the facts. I'd rather have a President who does actually try to hear all sides of an argument before making a decision.
And another thing, I'm sick of hearing about the optics of Hawaii. What was President Obama supposed to do? Fly back to DC? Fly to Detroit? What would that have done? Nothing. Then people would have said he was grandstanding and fearmongering. Obama barely takes time off. Hell, compared to Bush he's been working 24/7. He has a wife he loves and two young children. He also has a network of people behind him who can handle (jump)
a non-crisis in the event that he's not in DC when it happens. What would have been the benefit of Obama coming out on Christmas Day (when most NORMAL people wouldn't have been paying attention anyway) when the failed attack happened? What wisdom is there in speaking out about what happened before you even know what the fuck happened?
I'm glad Tweety and pat buchanan don't run this country, who knows what trouble their "passion" would get us into.
Now Michael Steele is on, this should be good for comic relief.
