In the aftermath of RenderQT's brilliant recent post, titled "Golden Ratio Discovered in Quantum World," alerting us to this groundbreaking if not earth shaking (to me that is)scientific news from ScienceDaily, I am posting this humble not quite a diary diary, putting myself at your mercy. So, please do bear with me because, since reading RenderQT's post, I can no longer ignore the wild speculation tap dancing somewhere between my hypothalamus and amygdala, and thus must be purged out. It is about the possible medical ramifications of this discovery. I am typing this fast so forgive the sloppy stuff.
Here it goes. If there is a Golden Ratio frequency involving hard matter at nanoscale, then, as a part of matter, there must also be a Golden Ratio vibration involving human body, also at nanoscale. We do not exist isolated from our environment thus whatever affects matter must also affects us. What could this mean, then? In terms of body's health? Well that's where my wild speculation shows up. I am seeing a potential for the treatment and the cure of many diseases like cancer, diabetes, parkinsons, etc, even HIV by the use of this scientific information. Imagine this for a moment. According to this news, the underlying universe of our bodies too should be functioning alongside a specific ratio of balance (beautiful design, mathmatical numbers, music, tune, etc.) which could be keeping us in tune (healthy?)with the rest of the matter (real solid matter)coexisting with our bodies. When something goes wrong with this tune (both in our environment and the bodies) however, we get disease. Not only we, but our environment gets the disease, hence the latest environmental woes of our planet. The two, the health (tune) of our planet and the health (tune) of our bodies should be connected and supportive of one another.
Therefore (bear with me), is it too far fetched that what is about to cure the diseases of our environment (physical world) should also be curing the diseases of our bodies? Two birds with one stone? I am talking about a medical science developing with the idea of curing disease by the use of these orderly and balanced nanoscale frequencies observed in quantum world? As I've said above, human body too is a part of that hard matter, and I think it makes sense to raise these (wild) questions. One more thing though, this might also mean the end for the insane $$$$ profits for the health care industry in its current state. I cannot predict what kind of new sciences could develop and what type of new profitable industries could follow such developments in the future,of course, but I can only say that "change" might be much greater than we ever imagined...
I have only one message for the current Health Care Industry profiters who might want to (naturally)derail such studies: You too are vulnerable to incurable diseases and your money and access to the best that is available today may not be enough to save you, either. Poor are not the only ones that die from incurable diseases. Living a healthy long life is also your goal so may be you should think before calculating the dollars you may lose, if such changes happen in the medical science. Better yet, you might find new ways of profiting, ways that are not detrimental to human, and at a greater scale, to earth
Please share what you think about my wild speculation. All, including the pies, are welcome.
