Here she goes again!
Jane Hamsher, has a post up on Huffington Post telling everyone how the CBO numbers and White House cabinet members trying to sell HCR, cannot be trusted with their numbers. Because?
Well just because another economist disagrees with the White Houses' paid contractor and noted MIT economist, Johnathan Gruber's assessment...and because Eliot Spitzer wants AIG emails...and because Jane hates Rahm!
Makes sense you say...then read on.
Jane Hamsher is writing in the Huffington Post that the White House is somehow not being forthcoming by using a paid consultants' numbers and analysis on health cares "Cadillac Tax".
Jane goes all apoplectic and implies that the proverbial books are being cooked because the White House is in cahoots with Jonathan Gruber, a economist that was hired by HHS to advise Nancy-Ann DeParle and others on Health reform alternatives.
For efforts of full disclosure,I cannot stand this woman, ever since she decided to team up with Grover "F'ing" Norquist, but that was another post.
Jane also, takes aim at just about everyone and every organization, who has disagreed with her one-woman (and right wing nutters) crusade to save America from the evils of HCR!
Including:
Paul Krugman
Jonathan Gruber
Ezra Klein
Ron Brownstein
OFA
DNC
Jesse Lee, White House blogger
The US Senate (I assume the Democrat side, not the Republican side)
Rahm Emanuel (of course)
Peter Orszag
Mike Allen
Politico
Kathleen Sebulius
HHS
and John Kerry
And then she slips in AIG emails for good measure in order to seal the deal with the reader:
Recently Bill Black, Eliot Spitzer and Frank Partnoy called for the release of AIG emails and internal documents, asserting that the public now owns 80% of the company and should be able to examine them in order to be able to ascertain what happened in the past. Likewise, now that it is known that Jonathan Gruber was a White House consultant, the assumptions that have been used by the White House to estimate the impact of the health care bill for decades to come should be made publicly available.
WTF?
A little advice for Limbaugh, Coulter, Beck, and Norquist, they really need to take notes on how to bring down left-wing legislation and for good measure a Democratic President. Jane is giving the Republican haters a lesson that I am sure is not free in the Republican Wing-Nutter training schools across the country. Seriously, she should be selling this shit...
I took the last sentence out, it was too cheap a shot...I apologize to Dkos readers for that one.
