I am just wondering how it is rich corporations have this "freedom of speech" that the SCOTUS is talking about, now there is no equal access for low income "persons" to get the same free speech these corporations have. Since we cannot buy what corporate persons can, hell we are lucky to be able to bbuy the bus pass to work. But we are considered "equal under the law" so where is our equal voice as "persons"? Is the U.S. going to subsidize us dollar for dollar now?
YES!!!!!!!
Even combined, we don't have billions, but not only are we "persons" like these entities are, we are more ~ because we are citizens. Foreign companies who get more voice than we do since they may be "persons" under the law, but they certainly are not citizens. We citizens cannot buy the exact same congressional access they can.
Therefore SCOTUS, obey the Constitution and make it better by ruling that our legislators begin funding We Te People to have the same access. I want my billions to speak to my lawmakers too! Just take it from the rich and give it to us in order to make it all equal and Constitutional again.
I am looking at office space and I have chosen my ergonomic and very chic orange Dania office chair. We will be ready to hire some stay-at-home moms, unemployed "green" engineers, legal immigrants, some homeless families, all laid-off factory workers who lost their jobs overseas, all broke small business owners, the disabled, all displaced veterans, the elderly who lost their homes, pensions and retirement to the banks, and any sick who can manage a way.
We will begin our lobbying just as soon as we get our check to fund the co-op...
THANKS SCOTUS!
