FLUSH YOUR HEALTH CARE REFORM BILL DOWN THE DRAIN DEMOCRATS!
Boehner, Cantor send a "sweet" letter to the White House on the proposed Health Care Summit
What a sad duo of moronic corporate tools, those two.
I am sorry. There is really not much I can say. It just makes me laugh. It hurts a bit when I laugh but it makes me laugh.
I mean read this:
Assuming the President is sincere about moving forward on health care in a bipartisan way, does that mean he will agree to start over so that we can develop a bill that is truly worthy of the support and confidence of the American people? Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius said today that the President is "absolutely not" resetting the legislative process for health care. If the starting point for this meeting is the job-killing bills the American people have already soundly rejected, Republicans would rightly be reluctant to participate.
Job-Killing Bill! Job-Killing Bill! Job-Killing Bill! Job-Killing Bill! Job-Killing Bill! Job-Killing Bill! Job-Killing Bill! Job-Killing Bill! Job-Killing Bill!
Yeah! We have never heard that one before. Haha.
Assuming the President is sincere about moving forward in a bipartisan way, does that mean he has taken off the table the idea of relying solely on Democratic votes and jamming through health care reform by way of reconciliation?
Haha? Yeah? You don't like reconciliation? Really? I hope they shove reconciliation down your throat.
Scrapping the House and Senate health care bills would help end the uncertainty they are creating for workers and businesses and thus strengthen our shared commitment to focusing on creating jobs
Yeah, bipartisanship means using only Republican ideas. Obama's words at the Republican retreat did not register with these people. Bipartisanship means COMPROMISE. Just like we had to comromise to give up universal healthcare, the red rats need to kiss Goodbye to their hope of preserving the status quo.
Now, granted. There is one good question in that letter:
Will the special interest groups that the Obama Administration has cut deals with be included in this televised discussion?
Hey, I like Obama, don't get me wrong. I know he has to negotiate with the enemy (big Pharma, etc), but still, I would like to have one of them join the talk and hope - yes, just HOPE, that one of our Democratic elected officals calls them out on their rising profits and the decline of health care quality and services in the US.
