Obama at U of M
President Barack Obama will deliver the spring 2010 commencement address at the University of Michigan. At the ceremony, to be held on May 1 in Michigan Stadium, Obama will receive an Honorary Doctor of Laws Degree. He will be the fourth sitting president to visit U-M in Ann Arbor, following George H.W. Bush, Gerald R. Ford and Lyndon B. Johnson.
Given the fact that Michigan Stadium holds 110,000, this might also be a good time for people in the area to see the president speak. I have not seen ticket details, yet.
Michigan might not be able to win at football or basketball anymore, but we've got a finalist in the Jeopardy college tournament. And now we've got the president.
