If you happen to live in Arlington County, Va., there are less than 2 1/2 hours left to vote on the image we will all have to plop on our windshields next November. Some people have found past designs objectionable. The chance to make a difference this year is about to expire.
Voting ends at noon EST.
Unfortunately, the county didn't do the world's greatest job of publicizing this vote or making it easy to find the site. TO VOTE, GO here.
[UPDATE: Link REALLY fixed. D*** address starts with "https", which system kept falsely correcting.]
This is the sticker that proves we paid our annual car tax and/or sticker fee.
Our choice of images this year are:
The county flag.
A bridge on the bike trail.
A Metro sign (Virginia Square).
A bench that is part of the 9/11 Pentagon memorial.
You'll see the designs on the site. You must be a resident to vote.
This is crazy thing of a diary, I know, just thought it might reach a few.
