The NRCC is busy blasting away with robocalls in districts of on-the-fence House members. The Teabaggers are flooding the Capitol with calls as we speak. And here's some of those results:
Separately, Dem Rep Kurt Schrader, a freshman in Oregon who voted Yes last time, is now unwilling to commit to supporting the Senate bill, reports The Oregonian. Schrader, too, is getting bludgeoned by the NRCC robocalls.

This is it, folks. HCR will either pass in the next couple of weeks, or die for another generation or more.
The President is all in:
"At stake right now is not just our ability to solve this problem, but our ability to solve any problem. The American people want to know if it’s still possible for Washington to look out for their interests and their future. They are waiting for us to act. They are waiting for us to lead. And as long as I hold this office, I intend to provide that leadership. I do not know how this plays politically, but I know it’s right."
Have you been waiting for leadership from Washington? Griping about those spineless Dems? Blogging about Sarah Palin or Glenn Beck?
Those things sure feel good, but aren't going to get HCR done. You know what will? Supportive phone calls from folks like you and me. Backstopping wavering House Dems and reminding our party that we've got their back when they do the right thing, even (especially!) when it's not polling well.
Have you been waiting for someone else to take action? That time has long past. Call now.
