Get out your straitjackets and butterfly nets, it’s time for a trip down to Richmond. In an interview over the weekend, Cuccinelli said that a challenge to President Obama’s birth certificate was "within the realm of possibility" for legal action, proving beyond a shadow of a doubt that he’s batshit crazy.
Yet another reason for NoVA to secede from Richmond.
Not only is he just a state wide office holder, this dude is unfortunately our Attorney General. Combine this ridiculousness with the letters he sent out to colleges asking them basically to discriminate against gays and you get exactly what all of us feared during the election – moving Virginia back 50 years.
Oh, good grief! Cuccinelli has made it plain over the years exactly how he feels about gay people. To pretend now that laws give him no choice is to venture beyond hypocricy into fiction. I almost preferred the days when McDonnell and Cuccinelli and others of that ilk were at least honest about they homophobia.
My idiot alert bell rang at the words, "We're gonna have our seventh child..."
As a Virginian, I apologize to the nation. This Fall's elections seemed to be won by anyone with an R after their name, typical for this state. We did produce Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson, too, did we not?
Let's just eliminate names on ballots. 'Batshit Crazy Dude' and 'Homophobic In-The-Closet Fundie' just seem more truthful.. that's what we're aiming for, right.. a transparent government?
Ugh. I live in Richmond, Va and I fucking hate this guy. I work at a university and our entire department wrote a complaint letter against his assholery.
I live in Northern VA, and my boyfriend's family and I had a two hour conversation at dinner yesterday about how crazy this guy is.
I know how this can surprise a lot of people how someone this stupid can be an elected official in Virginia, but I can tell you it's perfectly normal. This state is flooded with right-wing ... crazies.
I have a feeling that in March of 2011 there will be a lot of "oh shit, whoops, we elected a lunatic" stories on blogs and in newspapers across this great nation.
He was born in Edison. You know, the one on NJ Transit? With the everlasting post-industrial pall of failure? Anyway, if you've ever seen that godforsaken place, this is unsurprising. Reply
No social security number no tax deduction. What a dumb ass
