Republicans are angry, fervent, frothing at the mouth crazy, as much if not more as when Obama won the presidency. We have seen time after time that when this sect of the population is as riled up as it is now people are hurt if not outright killed. But what can we do about this? We, who are the exact people that Republicans are told it is ok to hate and even kill. I plan on discussing some ideas I have on how we can be proactive in standing up to the outrage and even dealing with the people who promote the violent rhetoric. Please join me after the fold and share your ideas too so that we can go from ideas to action.
A large population of Republicans are incensed, enraged and crazed. The flames of this anger are being stoked by Republican politicians, people in the MSM and wealthy business men who profit, politically and or monetarily from this situation. So how do we deal with this situation? Below are some of the ideas I have in tackling this complex situation. Please take the time and read below:
- Redirect the anger: The mass of people who are angry are an angry mob and as such are hard to reach with logic and niceness. Instead we could redirect their anger towards the Republican politicians and donors of the Teabagger movement like Dick Army who are encouraging the violence. If that is not possible then we could easily redirect the anger to health insurance companies and or banks who were bailed out. By redirecting the anger to those who have incited the anger in the first would probably cause that mob to be cracked down upon faster then you could say IOKIYAR. How would we do this? Members of the community could infiltrate the teabaggers and either push them during a meeting or through email to target the same people who began their movement.
- Start class action suits against violent inciters: I have seen this idea posted on this site a couple of times and think that this could be a good idea too. If the progressive movement could make profit by suing, and winning, prominent Republicans then I think they would be less prone to their violent rhetoric. This idea goes hand in hand with my third idea.
- Terrorists: What the Republicans are doing in both action and speak is terrorism. The government really needs to crack down on these domestic terrorists. If there were real repercussions to their call to violent action then most of these people would shut up pretty quickly. That is why the politicians like Eric Cantor don't want us to be discussing their terrorist actions. So lets use the word to describe what their actions truly are. We could even make money by selling shirts to the teabaggers. Wouldn't it be great to see on FOX Noise a shot of a new Teabag rally where people are waving signs and wearing shirts that say " If wanting to kill democrats make me a terrorist then I am a terrorist?"
or "Bomb Bomb Bomb America... well just the Liberal part". The politicians would be running away so fast from the teabaggers.
4.Ads: Lets start making and funding and hopefully airing ads against those who incite this violent talk. For politicians it would be toxic to have ads that just showcase what the person said on a daily basis. For anyone associated with Sarah Palin we could make an ad that drummed up fear of a nuclear attack on the country and then show that the plan was thought up by Republicans and show the actual site it was on etc.
So there you go those are some of my ideas. What are some of yours? If any of these ideas agree with you how can we move forward and turn these ideas into action?
