Georgia Gov. Sonny Perdue, angry that state Attorney General Thurbert Baker will not sign onto the lawsuit against the health care reform insurance mandate, is going rogue and appointing his own "special" attorney general specifically to pursue this case.

Apparently the state constitution allows such easily-abused chicanery.
This is the new strategy to supercede the apparently now-shelved attempt to impeach Baker, detailed here: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/...
Backstory is important: Baker, an African American Democrat, is running for governor. While Perdue is term-limited, the Republican field is crowded. The Democratic field also features the comeback attempt by Georgia's last Democratic governor, Roy Barnes, whom Perdue defeated.
