I'm proud of this community for many reasons. Oh, sure, I get disgusted with the name calling and flame throwing that erupt all too often, but for every stupid comment or poorly considered diary I read there are ten of each that capture my attention and make me enjoy being here.
IGTNT diaries ~ an acronym for I got the news today ~ should make every person here proud. The Daily Kos community has embraced this fine series since its inception. The goal of the series is simple: honor the sacrifice of every American who dies in Iraq or Afghanistan.
