'Kay, now, this is the last time I 'm going to remind you - we're having a party tomorrow, it's going to be a blast, and you're invited! All the juicy details below:

Not only our own much-missed captainlaser, but also reporter and blogger Al Giordano (The Field, Narconews) will be joining us! Quite a few things have happened since our last meetup: the HCR bill is the law of the land, the president has signed a nuclear arms treaty with Russia, and Justice Stevens has announced his retirement. Some things never change, though: Sarah Palin and Michele Bachmann are still crazy, and the Republican Congressional caucus is still against everything. Even if they're not sure what it is yet.

Yes, it's been way too long since we've all seen each other, and we have plenty to catch up on!

It saddens me to report that our much-beloved Milkshake Company is no more, though it appears to be morphing into another outdoor bar/restaurant. More news on this as it becomes available; we may be able to return to that location later in the season. Instead, we'll be getting together at the way-cool, exotically African-themed:

645 9th Avenue (between 45th and 46th Streets)

where we have a comfy private room reserved just for us. Interesting food, "creative" drinks (don't worry, they also have normal ones, and beer and wine), and we supply the very best conversation, of course!

Time: 6:30 pm - ??? (I will be there by 6)

by subway, A, C, E to 42nd Street, N, Q, R, W, 1,2,3,7 to Times Square.
by bus: M10, 11, 16, 20, 27, 42, 50, and 104. Or any bus that goes to the Port Authority Bus Terminal(so I expect to see all you NJers, too!)

Spring has come (and gone, and returned), so you really have no excuse - come join us, we're going to have a ball!
As always, please rec this up for the maximum number of Kossacks to see - thanks! And I'll see you tomorrow!

Tagging tips - Search For Tags - Browse For Tags

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.

You can add a private note to this diary when hotlisting it:
Are you sure you want to remove this diary from your hotlist?
Are you sure you want to remove your recommendation? You can only recommend a diary once, so you will not be able to re-recommend it afterwards.

(The diary will be removed from the site and returned to your drafts for further editing.)
(The diary will be removed.)
Are you sure you want to save these changes to the published diary?
