Because nobody reads up here: The reason why everyone loses the Battle of the Sexes is because nobody ever calls a truce. All we are saying...is give peace a chance.

Tonight's Rant: Two Super Bowl Rings Can't Buy a Brain.
So, how dumb is Ben Roethlisberger?
NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell handed out a smackdown of a suspension today, handing Roethlisberger a six-game ban for violation(s) of the league’s Personal Conduct policy. The violations stem from two consecutive offseason rape allegations in two years; the first from last season in Vegas, which is still in legal process, and the latter which Roethlisberger was cleared of last Monday by the Georgia State Police.
I am not going to speculate as to what might have happened when or where, but all I know is that this is not a good look; for Roethlisberger, for the Pittsburgh Steelers or the National Football League.
What seems inevitable, however, is that Big Ben’s days in the ‘Burgh might be over.
Just last week, the Steelers traded wideout and Super Bowl hero Santonio Holmes for practically a cheese-bale 5th Round draft pick from the New York Jets, for allegations of abuse. Now, according to ESPN, the Steelers are open to trading Roethlisberger for a Top 10 draft choice. And, they just traded for Byron Leftwich; the backup QB during their Super Bowl run two years ago.
Whether you think that trading Roethlisberger is a bad move or not isn’t the point. The point is, rather, that this cannot be allowed to stand anymore. The Steelers have made it as such with their players. Roethlisberger cannot, as a 29 year-old public figure, keep putting himself in these situations. He's the public face of the Steelers--well, for now, anyway--and he can't be out doing this sort of shit.
Hey Ben? Stop going to college bars, dude. It's not a good look for a middle-aged professional athlete, in more ways than one.
