For those who haven't been following, since taking office in January, Chris Christie has acted as a combination of Ronald Reagan and Rudy Guliani. Like Reagan, he has engaged in union demonization and bashing. Instead of the air traffic controllers, it's the teacher's union. And the budget he introduced is reminiscent of Reagan's budget cuts. Cuts to aid to the poor and education. Like Guliani, he's a former federal prosecutor. More than that, he displays the same arrogance Guliani does. He brooks no criticism and acts as if he's always right.
Well, according to the latest poll out from SUSA, Christie's act is not playing so well with most New Jerseyans.
New Jersey Governor Chris Christie has been in office for just three months, and a new eyewitness news poll shows voters are not giving him any kind of a honeymoon as he presses for budget cuts.
Only 33% of New Jersey residents approve the job Christie is doing as governor.
Nearly twice the number, 63% disapprove.
The telephone poll by SurveyUSA has a margin of error of plus or minus 4%.

Christie's reaction? A combination of his usual arrogance and disdain for the truth.
"I could care less," said Governor Christie.
. . . .
"Almost everyone of those polls said I wasn't going to win too, well, here I am," said Governor Christie.
Actually, just about every poll said Chrisite was going to win. Nice lie, Governor.
