I did not understand the infraction that penalized students for wearing an American Flag? Apparantly the principal thought the T-shirts the students were wearing were "incendiary" that would lead to fights on campus.

Maybe the real story is something different then what is being reported, but if you can understand why this happened, please let me know.
"They said we could wear it on any other day," Daniel Galli said, "but today is sensitive to Mexican-Americans because it's supposed to be their holiday so we were not allowed to wear it today."
I am not familiar with Cinco de Mayo, but I think it is the Mexican Independence Day and should be celebrated! And Mexican Americans should have pride, but why would wearing an American Flag cause hostility at a school?
