Traitor Joe Lieberman is hard pressed to find backers for his new proposed conservative terrorism-related bill called Terrorist Expatriation Act (TEA) whicjh would allow the State Department ot revoke American citizenship for anyone accused of being members of foreign terrorist organizations.
And why did'nt he present this idea under the Bush Administration after 911?
You know it's pretty bad when John Boehner blasts your ideas and call it unconstituitonal
"If they are a U.S. citizen, until they are convicted of some crime, I don't see how you would attempt to take their citizenship away," Boehner said. "That would be pretty difficult under the U.S. Constitution."
Democrats agree with Boehner and for perhaps the first time this Congress the top Democrat and the top Republican in the House agree that you are wrong!
Chuck Schummer was the first to come out agianst the proposal after it was leaked that he would back it.
Secretary of State Hillary Clinton came closest to voicing support for TEA, particularly in the cases of naturalized citizens, but stopped short of endorsing the idea.
Nancy Pelosi recalled the Japanese interment camps and how uncertain cicumstances may be sometimes.
All in all the TEA is pretty weak, for now and serves Traitor Joe just right.
