The latest bit of lunacy from a desperate, wild Glenn Beck:

From the May 27 edition of Premiere Radio Networks' The Glenn Beck Program:
BECK: See, first they tried to do that with me. Then they tried to it with Fox entirely. They said they were going to pull Fox out of the pool. And they said that, "You know, they're not really even a news organization." And they recommended to others that they don't treat them like a news organization. Do you see what's happening?
That's the way a soft revolution happens. If somebody starts to turn on them, or they can't get everyone to silence, that's when the arrests come, or that's when they start a hard revolution. That's when they start just shooting people. I hope we don't get to that point. I pray that we don't get to that point, but I never thought this country would get to the point where we are today.
"That's when they start just shooting people."
Beck is trying to push his followers over the edge, using lies, mischaracterizations and wild unfounded conspiracy theories.
This is an inexcusable, grossly irresponsible attempt by Beck to incite his followers to violence - and if God forbid anything happens because of statements like these, the blood will be on his hands.
And it's not just one incident. Beck is flogging this scare-tactic relentlessly. Just a few of the myriad examples:
Beck's website: "Progressives want you dead." On his website, Beck posted the headline: "Not 'useful'? Progressives want you dead"
Beck: Progressives "are sucking the blood out of the republic" and are "gonna start getting more and more violent." On his Fox News show, Beck stated that "the progressive movement is sucking the blood out of the republic" and that their "playbook" is to "lie, cheat, steal." On his radio show, Beck warned that progressive "vampires" have a "taste of blood" and are "gonna start getting more and more violent."
And to quote the White House, "We will step on their throat with our boot." If you want to talk about a jackbooted thug, that is a quote from the White House. "We will step on their throat with our boot.". And after that - then they kill. It is the pattern of every out-of-control government. We are seeing the pattern here. If you don't think that they won't kill, well you're probably right. Probably right. Why jump to those conclusions. So far we've only see the unions - the thugs from the White House (long pause) beat (long pause) intimidate (long pause).
-Glenn Beck, on the Glenn Beck radio program, May 6, 2010
Then they kill? Really, Glenn?
Beck's January 2010 Fox News Channel documentary, Revolutionary Holocaust - Live Free or Die, Beck asserts that the evil mass-murdering dictators of history were not right-wing extremists as commonly believed, but were in fact leftist progressives, the same labels he uses to describe President Obama and his administration. Beck does not mince words, stating that progressives are responsible for "some of the most horrifying outcomes in history." And he doesn't just mean a bad economy. He means cold-blooded murder. His documentary is filled with graphic images of violent mass deaths and destruction perpetrated by Stalin, Hitler and Mao - the three stooges of Beck's progressive apocalypse.
Beck wants to provoke a visceral response of fear, hatred and disgust. Clearly he wants to teach people to reflexively experience that same gut reaction to President Obama. His ongoing mantra is that the President and his "revolutionary progressive" cronies want total control of their lives just like these murderous "progressive" dictators - a point which he delicately bludgeons his audience with in the "Live Free or Die" portion of the title of the documentary. Throw off the shackles of progressive dictator Obama to live free - or you will die.
Any Republican, conservative or Fox News employee with any modicum of decency left, feel free to speak out at any time...
