I had said that I expected "A Great Speech and Half-Measures" yesterday and that I had the title already chosen (in double quotes).
I was wrong.
Because of Obama's Oval Office Speech, I had to re-write the title as above.
It was not a great speech when you consider that Obama can be a tremendous orator. And there was not much talk in the way of even 'half-measures' last night.
Not much new (or news for that matter) at all.
I guess that stuff from the UK about their pension problems if BP has to pay for the full costs of the spill has moved Obama to be even more 'moderate' than his usual level of 'moderation' and tolerance of greedhead misdeeds.
It seems to me to be the same strategy that Obama used with the Banksters and AHIP... let them off the hook until something else even worse comes up to divert media attention.
Sad. Sad. SAD.
Obama could have been the first black FDR and instead he's standing between the bad guys and the folks with pitchforks once again. What is really sad is that these greedhead sociopaths and psychopaths don't appreciate him and are busily sharpening their knives.
Et Tu, Brute?
