Why hasn't Barney Frank been invited onto Rachel Maddow's program to explain why he has sold out to the Financial Industy?......
I have been waiting for Rachel Maddow to invite Barney Frank onto her program to ask why he has been trying to stand in the way of effective financial reform. I mean, she had him on when it appeared he was doing the right thing on other issues. Why not now?
It is clear that Barney Frank thinks it is more in his interest to protect his buddies in the banking and finance industry then to stand with good progressives like Al Franken. I think it is obvious Barney Frank is more concerned about his own welfare, then the welfare of anyone else. Rightly or wrongly, reasonably or unreasonably, that is what I think, and I am not going to apologize for it.
So, I just don't understand given Rachel Maddow's obvious ability to get Congressman Frank to appear on other isses, why she hasn't asked him on to defend the citizen hostile actions he has taken in trying to block legistlative action that runs counter to the interests of many of the same people who it is alleged on various websites, blogs, and other media outlets contribute to Congressman Frank's campaigns. I think this is at best fishy, and truly wonder when she is going to ask him on to disprove or otherwise refute these issues.
I heard on another progressive show that Congressman Frank, according to one of his congressional in house colleagues, is hostile to lobbyists, and if anyone is talking to them and being influenced by them, it is the Congressman's staff. So what. Congressman Frank presumably is the boss of these people, so it isn't unreasonable to think he doesn't have at least a minimum awareness of what is going on in his name, and behind his back. What is the story here? Why isn't he being called to account, or refute what appears to be the pursuit of economic policies that so clearly are harmful, and ultimately hurt the very people he claims to wish to protect?
So come on Rachel, do your job, and invite the congressman. Just because I am a supporter of yours, and a fan, doesn't mean I am going to sit by when I should be asking you what you are doing and calling you out.
Make Barney Frank famous, positively or otherwise.
I don't know if this is a post that can not help be viewed as slanderous, so if the powers that be of this site feel it is, I will understand if you remove my diary.
Thanks for hearing me out on my rant.
