John Boehner continues to reinforce my commitment to my longstanding progressive political and social views.
He and other leaders of the GOP consistently state how 'we could have come-up with' (fill-in the blank), instead of this (fill in the blank) number of pages bill.
No need to think of filling in the blanks. "The Song Remains the Same" (Led Zeppelin, circa 1975). The 'song remained the same' with the developing health care reform bill: "this 2700 page a bill". The current Wall Street reform legislation: "this 2400 page bill".
Instead of the reality of GOP "NO", the GOP responds to each administration initiative or program with the 'Same Ol Song' (The Four Tops, circa 1966): This page bill or 'we could have come up with'.
Does Boehner really fail to realize the his party will come-up with nothing to regulate Wall Street? Regulation is not a word that is common to conservative belief, philosophy, nor strategy.
Before the FOX News 'clean-up' opportunity below, please view the following repeat of a national news segment related to Boehner's latest 'boner'.
FOX NEWS Media release presentation
Shallowness is one thing. Abysmal incompetence and 'in your face' disregard for reform in any form speaks to an ideology that flourished between 2002 and 2008: a dark period in US History.
