Browsing through CNN Money's best places to live I started to notice a trend. It seemed that the majority of the towns in the top 20 had, let's say, a certain racial makeup. However, CNN did not consider the racial makeup of a town rather they considered unemployment rate, school systems, crime and other things. Here is a look at the top 10:
Eden Prairie, MN- 92.06% white, 4% black
Columbia, MD- 66% white, 20% black
Newton, MA- 88% white, 2% black
Bellevue,WA- 82% white, 2% black
McKinney,TX- 71% white, 7% black
Fort Collins,CO- 84% white, 3% black
Overland Park,ks- 90% White, 2% black
Fischers, IN- 92% White, 2% black
Ames,IA- 87% white, 2% black
Rogers,AR- 90% white, 0.9% black
On the flip side if you look at murder rate in cities it there is not a city in the top 10 with a black/african american population under 20%. What is it going to take to rebuild towns when people with money and who want good school systems and low crime and fleeing from these cities. What will detroit look like in 2020? What about New Orleans, Baltimore, Cleveland, Birmingham and so on? Shits about to get really bad in a lot of big cities.
