And the Tea Party is not racist apparently either because a bunch of minorities were marched out as tokens at the Tea Party Caucus press conference this morning according to the Minneapolis City Pages
This was before the meeting of the minds was turned over to the 28 really old mostly white Dudes that make up the Tea Party Caucus. Not the idiots holding the Don't Tread on Me Signs, Not the voices, but the trash cans of the Tea Party movement.
Here's the quote of the year from Team Bachmann
"We're not the mouthpiece," Representative Bachmann said. "We are not taking the Tea Party and controlling it from Washington, D.C. We are also not here to vouch for the Tea Party or to vouch for any Tea Party organizations or to vouch for any individual people or actions, or billboards or signs or anything of the Tea Party."
"We are the receptacle," she added.
When I think of a receptacle - I think of a freaking trash can which is a good word to describe Bachmann and her phony cronies. Because they aren't the mouthpiece. Because Michele is never the mouthpiece for any crazy ideas. She doesn't believe in being a mouthpiece. She's a stateswoman. We all know that.
Oh and this isn't a racist caucus either says Indiana Rep Dan Burton
That should dispel an awful lot of the rumors about racism," We have people of all different backgrounds here today to talk about how they feel about American constitutional government and more taxes and less spending."
I'm not a racist but - always the code word for I'm a racist. Or now we have we aren't racists because we have a couple of token Black or Hispanic members. Yeah right. It's like George Wallace, should be forgiven for the schoolhouse stand and saying Segregation Now, Segregation Tomorrow and Segregation Forever because his black orderly was his best friend
If Michele Bachmann has her way there will not be a Republican Party - there will only be a Tea Party.
Look we don't need any new reasons to support Tarryl Clark in her bid to unseat Michele Bachmann. We have quite a laundry list of transgressions, quotes and inciting of violence although daily we get more to choose from to add to Bachmann's Greatest Hits.
Defeating Michele Bachmann is a must in order for us to stop the spread of this ridiculous rhetoric. This is by no means just an election contained to Minnesota's 6th Congressional District. This is an election that affects us all because of the beast that Michele Bachmann has become.
